In private practice since 1987, I treat children, adults and families. My specialities include abuse issues, domestic violence, and disaster management. I include parents as an integral part of any child's treatment. My theoretical approach balances psychodynamic insight with cognitive restructuring, but I believe that the therapeutic bond is the most important agent of change. I received my MSW at USC, followed by a two-year postgraduate fellowship at Reiss Davis Child Study Center. I completed coursework and was admitted to candidacy for a PhD in clinical social work at USC. I am happy to provide a free phone consultation.
Having completed a two year fellowship in clinical social work I did receive extensive training in psychotherapy working with children and families. In addition my studies at USC were focused on abuse and family violence.
